Honey Garlic Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup of honey
  • ¼ cup of water
  • 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
  • 4 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp of cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp of water
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • a pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Whisk together the honey, water, vinegar, garlic, salt, and soy sauce in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring the mixture to a boil, then lower the heat and let it simmer until slightly reduced, about 10 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the cornstarch and water to make a slurry. Add the slurry to the saucepan and mix well to combine. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce is thick and glossy.
  • Enjoy your healthy honey garlic sauce with your favorite dishes, such as chicken, tofu, or vegetables. You can store the leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
