Ingredients
  

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 tbsp of butter
  • ¼ cup of honey
  • 6 cloves of garlic, peeled and smashed
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp of cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp of water
  • Fresh parsley and lemon wedges for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper and place them on the prepared sheet.
  • In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter and add the honey and garlic. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the garlic is soft and the honey is thickened.
  • Stir in the soy sauce and vinegar and cook for another 5 minutes, until slightly reduced.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and water to make a slurry. Add it to the saucepan and cook for another minute, stirring, until the sauce is smooth and glossy.
  • Spoon some of the sauce over each salmon fillet, reserving some for later. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the salmon is flaky and cooked through.
  • Transfer the salmon to a platter and drizzle with more sauce. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
