Ingredients
  

  • 1 large organic orange with peel, thoroughly washed
  • 1 small banana for creaminess and natural sweetness
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt for probiotics and protein
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk or your preferred milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional, for added sweetness
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger for digestive support
  • A pinch of turmeric powder for anti-inflammatory benefits
  • 3-4 ice cubes for a chilled, refreshing drink

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Peel the orange, but reserve some of the outermost, thin skin (orange zest) for an extra boost of nutrients. Remove as much of the white pith as possible to avoid bitterness.
  • Step 2: Add the orange segments, orange zest, banana, Greek yogurt, almond milk, honey, ginger, turmeric, and ice cubes to a high-speed blender.
  • Step 3: Blend on high for about 60-90 seconds until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Step 4: Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding a little more honey, then blend again briefly.
  • Step 5: Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately for maximum nutrient benefits.
