Equipment

  • Oven
  • Baking sheet
  • Foil
  • Small saucepan
  • Skillet

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 4 cloves of minced garlic
  • ¼ cup of honey
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with foil (If broiling). Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and add the garlic. Cook for about a minute, stirring frequently, until fragrant.
  • Stir in the honey, soy sauce, and vinegar and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
  • If you want to broil the pork chops, place them on the prepared baking sheet and spoon some of the sauce over them. Broil for about 15 minutes, flipping halfway and basting with more sauce, until cooked through and golden.
  • If you want to cook them in a skillet, heat some oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for about 4 minutes per side, until browned. Transfer them to a plate and keep warm.
  • Pour the remaining sauce into the same skillet and bring to a boil. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until reduced by half.
  • Return the pork chops to the skillet and coat them with the sauce. Simmer for a few minutes, until heated through.
  • Sprinkle some parsley over the pork chops and serve with your favorite sides. Enjoy!
